National Urban Fellows is a leadership accelerator and talent pipeline for diverse mid career professionals committed to racial equity, public service and social impact. The National Urban Fellows’ Academic and Leadership Program selects Fellows annually for a rigorous, 14-month, full-time graduate program. The program is comprised of four semesters of academic coursework, a nine-month mentorship, and ongoing leadership training and coaching. Upon successful program completion, Fellows earn a Master of Policy Management degree from the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.

  • A fully funded Master of Policy Management (MPM) degree from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy
  • A 9-month full-time residency at a renowned host institution under the mentorship of a committed senior leader
  • Professional and leadership development training and coaching with an emphasis on advancing racial equity
